Hey TL lovers! I am new to this site but have read many of the recent posts. I have an 07 TL that I love, but after driving it a while I need MORE POWER! I talked to my dealer and they were no help for the 07. I would love to get a hold of a turbo or something else like that with massive HP gains, but I understand they are not available yet. In the meantime I would like to add intake, exhaust and a chip. Where is the best place to go for these parts? Your help is greatly appreciated!

Oh, and I dont want to change the look, I love it already, just need more HP.

 

Intake/Exhaust you can get at a number of different places, including from vendors on this forum. Regarding the chip, you get an upgraded ECU with the Comptech supercharger that is available for purchase. No turbo's available for 3G
TL's as of yet.

as for the supercharger, if you have a TL-P (not type S) you can buy the supercharger. MSRP is about $4900, but i am sure it can be had for less.... you will see like 50-60 whp gains.... with intake, j-pipe, exhaust, cat deletes and a supercharger.. my guess would be close to a whp increase... (base tl = 205~whp, fully done, should be over 300whp)

 

I'd say get something sportier

Ok, thanks guys...yeah, I could never find one for 07 and up, they were all up to 06. So, Excelerate, you say I can get a supercharger from you for $4500, nice! About how much is it for install? And does anyone know of a shop in Portland, OR that can do it?

BTW, I dont want something "sportier". I love my TL, the look, the feel, I just want to turn it into a sleeper.
