Help needed removing battery fuse

Hi guys, I need your help. I think my bro-in-law jumped the TL with the cable attached backwards. I changed the battery(it was due for it anyways) and the car still does not start up. Nothing powers up. I am trying to troubleshoot starting with the fuses in the engine bay. I cannot remove them without prying them out (the 50A got deformed while doing this). Is there an easy way to remove them? I see clips holding them down but cannot easily snap them out. I am interested in the big 120-70 fuse for the battery that is held in place by two screws. I will appreciate any help in this matter.

Do cars typically hold up to this kind of abuse?

Anyone jump backwards, blow the main fuse, and just replace it and go?

Did you ever resolve this? I have the same problem and still trying to get the battery fuse out to check. Was that the only problem? (asking hopefully...)
