Ok so i have an 06 tl and my insurance co. is paying for a new front bumper. since i like the look of the 07 base i told my body shop to buy the 07 front bumper instead of an 06. Will my 06 aspec lip and front grill fit on the 07 front bumper. I know i am going to have to buy out of pocket the lower fogs and trim. I tried searching but cant find the post with the parts and their model numbers

 

your spec kit won't fit since the lower grilles are larger on the Base TL. As well the grille won't fit since it's larger as well.

 

Yep the 04-06 lip will not fit, and would need to be modified to fit. Best bet is to sell the 04-06 lip, then buy a 07-08 Base lip.

Depending on what color you have, the 07-08 Base lip might not be available in your color and would need to be repainted.

You will need to buy the upper grille V shape outline piece, the upper grille center cross bar w/ emblem. The 04-06 upper grille parts will not fit.

Your going to be surprised if you want OEM fogs also. The housings are not cheap, and you also need the bulbs and a wiring harness kit w/ relays.

i hear that glass is better than plastic for the fogs but ppl are saying that plastic hasnt melted and are ok to use

 

I have done many accord light mods and they are very sexy, I would stick with the 06 bumper. The front a spec is a lot nicer IMO on the 04-06
