Help WiTh The HeadLight
Hey GuyS Can You Guys Help Me About My Head Light .. 2005 Tl i Want To Change New Bulb 8000k Can You Guys Help Me How To Take it Apart And chage my bulb it be really nice if you have picx or otherwise just show me step by stap thank you
If you have the correct bulb, it should just be a direct swap. A lot easier access if you take of the bumper, and the headlight to minimize the risk of getting the bulb dirty. On a sidenote, I would never put anything above 6500k, into the headlights. Its a waste, and will result in a lot less useful light than even halogen. Though it may seem blue, it does not help you identify the road.
If you want more color, you can take apart the projector and attempt to color-mod it, which I will be doing in the near future.

Man So i Have To take the whole bumber off to replace the Low Beam Hid Buld..? if it is that alot of work for just replace the Bulb
hey guys just let you guy know i have change my headlight today and i don't have to take the bumber or anything of .. if you guy want to do the same bring it to dealer they charge you $20 buck to change it very cheap huh
There's a note in the owner's manual that the HID bulbs are high voltage, which can remain in the circuit even with the light switch off and the key removed. So be careful if you do it yourself.
The dealer may be able to do it without removing the bumper because they probably have the experience, but it isn't easy for someone who hasn't done it before.
There is a cover over the bulb that you have to remove. There is a screw that takes a T20 Torx bit, and I don't think it is easy to get at. Then you have to rotate the cover 45 degrees, again not easy in the space available. Plus getting the bulb out and the retaining spring off. It's all outlined in the thread link I gave above.
