Help with Free Accessories

I have a plain 04 TL, auto, no-nav. My dealer screwed up on something and I have a $200 credit for parts or accessories. Any suggestions on how I should spend their two hundred bucks?

I agree...not many parts or accessories they have that are worth the $200 they are charging...you can find the same for less on eBay. But if you have use it on parts, all season floor mats and a trunk tray, maybe. And a blank cover for the driver side door (to cover the key hole)...it's only $12.

All weather floor mats and trunk tray is a good investment.
The window visor things look good on most TLs.
A service manual if you are mechanically inclined.
Dealer provided tint job.
Down payment on an ASPEC suspension kit or new wheels

I would not blow 200 on oil changes.

So what was it the dealer screwed up ? I hope not something on your TL.

I would get the Carbon Fiber insert"s around the cup holder, heat seat buttons, and around the rear a/c vents (behind armrest console) at invoice price since they fucked up on whatever they did.

if you dont do your own oil changes, etc then its probably best to just use the 200 for service. if you have your heart set on getting something tangible then go with what velfare said and try to get the carbon fiber at cost.

You could buy 200 pine tree air freshners.

Hang 'em all up; it would be like driving through the north woods.

Are you sure she didn't mean she likes the feel of wood in her hand? Okay, sorry, couldn't resist! It was too easy!

I agree with a lot of the other posters - the accessories are not worth the prices they would charge you. I'd maybe use it to pay for more difficult and time-consuming service jobs such as transmission fluid replacement. Oil changes are easy and they charge too much for them anyway.
