ok, I have tried everything and even did a search for more info. I have the key on, I have pressed and reset the buttons and then tried training the opener. No luck, so as per the manual I tried a second time and guess what...nothing. Again back to the manual. I tried getting the TL Homelink to learn a rotating code (like I thought I did with the old TL) and still nothing. Its 1:ooam here and I have work in the morning (up at 5:00am) I have been playing with the Navi and setting up my V551 instead of the homelink. OOPS

Any Ideas? It is a Genie screw drive opener if that makes a difference.

 

Actually, there is a TSB out for defective Homelink units - and yours might be one of those. Here's the link:

ok after I posted I looked at the bottom and found some similar post that I ddi not find when I searched for Homelink....guess what its working now, actually had to combine the two set ups for the rolling codes, both garage door openers work now and it only took five minutes....considering ZI was out there for an hour before, I am not sure whether I should be happy or happy and pissed. That should have been in the manual.
