HELP! Buy it now or wait?

Hi Everybody,

I have been a long time lurker on this site, excellent site I might say. I got a question for all you vets. I am interested in purchasing a 04-05 TL with Navigation. The prices have gone down a lot and there's quite a few deals out there now.

My question though is, should I wait until the new TL comes out, so that the prices will drop or do you guys think the prices aren't going to drop much more after the 4g TL is released.

Thank you guys so much.

My local Acura dealer, Acura of the Desert said the '09 TL would be in stock on Sept. 24, will sure be interested in the way it looks in person so will be there to check it out. I am very happy with my '07 TLS and plan to keep it though because I like the body shape better, but that is personal preference

Definitely wait until the new model comes out at the end of September. The 3G will be alot cheaper. Sure I could've waited a few months before buying mines, but I gotta say, I do not regret my decision one bit after buying my TL back in June. I absolutely love this car!

I suggest going to the car dealership every week to test drive it until the time you buy it to keep the urges down. ;-)

Thanks Everybody

I appreciate all your responses, so I guess I am going to wait it out. It's going to be hard since I have been test driving 3Gs and I just love them.

Do any of you guys know if the TSXs dropped a lot after the release of the 2G TSX?

I do want the newest one possible, but my budget right now is about 20k, so I doubt I would be able to get an 06 in a few months, this is Toronto prices.

Again thanks, this is the best board I have seen so far and I have been on a few.

I am guessing tpms stands for tire pressure monitoring system, but what is hfl unit?

Yeah I'm in Toronto, lets do that, see if we can get some deals, when are you planning to pick one up?

I have wasted quite a bit of money on inspections already, but i am going to wait it out now.

I've been told Sept 24th on the '09.

I'm waiting for a certified '06 that fits my requirements.

very few first produced 04 TL's have had tranny issues, and a recall was issued to fix them. My 04 transmission has been running pretty good. I would wait on getting the TL, also you might be able to score some good deals since cars would be just coming off leases
