first of all, what are your goals for the car?
if it's to make power, a short ram intake wont do that.
a short ram intake will suck up the hot air from the engine.

your stock factory cold air intake is 10x better than the short ram intake.

Welcome to Acurazine!

If you hang around enough, you'll find a lot of useful information, and probably the most helpful place here is the 3G Garage, it has many DIY's and information related to maintenance and modifications.

As for the intake, many people just delete the intake's resonator chamber. (There is a DIY on that.)

As for bumpers and side skirts, the A-SPEC kit is the most popular, it can be ordered piece by piece or the entire kit. Look for the vendor "Ack05TL" here, he can get OEM parts at great prices.

As for a stereo, I can't help, but there is a dedicated section for Audio at the top of the 3G TL page, along with Performance and Mods, Photo Gallery, Wheels/Tires/Suspension and Problems and Fixes.

Here is the link to the 3G Garage.

https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-2004-2008-93/3g-tl-service-department-aka-garage-questions-answers-check-here-first-553557/

My last piece of advice is to use Google to search things. Just add "acurazine" to the beginning of what you're searching for.

For the stereo, go with Dynaudio Esotar speakers front, rear, and center, with a Genesis mono amp on each speaker. 4 Dynaudio 1200 subs ported to 50hz in the trunk. Make sure to replace the factory headunit and run your signal post amp.

what for?
your goal is to keep the car running correctly and for a long time.
keep the stock intake, as it's best for performance and will keep water out.

if you buy a $200 dollar intake, you're out 200 dollars for a glorified noise maker, plus if you buy a cold air intake, it will suck up water.

might as well just keep your 200 dollars for safe keeping or spend it on body kits.

So your saying that installing the short ram intake will diminish the car life? what about a muffler? also one question, when im breaking from going 60mph the car shakes, what could that be?

no no no, what I am saying is that you're going to waste your hard earned $200 for NOTHING.
with an aftermarket intake, you have the chance of sucking up water and damaging your engine.

and with a short ram intake, you're doing NOTHING.
so, why waste that money? just give it to me. I will gladly sit in your car and make "vtec" noises for you.

WHY THE HECK DO YOU EVEN WANT A SHORT RAM INTAKE?
it does NOTHING.

OP just do the intake resonator delete. Sounds nice, just don't drive through any deep puddles

this is what our stock cold air intake system looks like. IT IS SUPERIOR TO an aftermarket SHORT RAM or after market cold air intake.

Now, why would you want to remove this system for something that is inferior?
Keep it stock, and save that $200.

Justn is right dude. If you're still gonna go for an intake at least go for a CAI just remember you cannot go over water that is a more than 3 inches off the ground cause your car may be at risk of getting water sucked in. I have one and i love it but everytime it rains i have to keep my eyes wide open. Short ram sucks and it's just gonna suck it all the hot air like Justn said lol

Shaking when braking can be from rotors being "out of round" or warped, or could be tires that are "scalloped" or improperly wearing.

you can fix this by changing the pads and re-bedding the rotor.
if rotor is too gone to save, you might have to replace that too.

+1 on the rotors being warped. A rotor will warp when overheated. If it isn't warped too badly you can have them "turned" (resurfaced) and that would eliminate the shudder. If it cannot be resurfaced properly you'll need to buy new. This could be just one rotor or all 4 but most likely it is the front rotors.
