Hello!! I'm new here.
Hello everyone and I hope you all are having a great day. Well I'm new here and I have decided to join the Acura family. I am buying a 2008 Acura TL Type S. My whole entire life, I have only owned Toyota cars and my last car got destroyed in a car accident. It was a 2005 Corolla and I will miss her. But I want to step off Toyota for a while and try something different.
So Acura won my vote and I will post pictures soon of my new car. A little about myself. I am from Maryland around the DC area. But 4 years ago I moved to Las Vegas due to a career change. Also a must to know I am a die hard Redskins fan...
Thank you for your guys for your time and just a fyi this site has lots of great information I been looking for. The language is a little different from Toyota but I'll get used to it. Thank You again.

By the way our cars do not have traditional headers. Ours are cast into the block itself.
If you like the look of the TL then the ASPEC kit is your next big hit.
It's common practice to make sure the 105k tuneup is either already completed or out of the way. I did mine at 90k miles.
If you take care of it, it will easily become a 200k mile car.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new car! My last car was a slammed 6th gen accord, poor girl got smashed too. Fell in love with the 3G TL as soon as it came out in 2004. Finally got my hands on one oct 2012 and have been smiling since!

Welcome. I'm originally from the DMV area as well. I lived in Northern VA until a few years ago. Relocated to HI. I've had a few Toyotas in my day and my wife still owns a 2007 Camry. Toyotas are great but nowhere near as fun as a TL! Enjoy.
