Hello Everyone!! New owner here.
Hey everyone,
Just wanted to introduce myself. I am a proud new owner of a 2008 TL S-Type AT. Well my wife is... I have a work truck and work on an oil rig so its mine when I am home damnit!! Just picked it up yesterday and I love it.
So where in the hell do I begin? Since I have two weeks at home a month and nothing to do I figured I would mod the car. I have always owned trucks and older mustangs. Never owned an import so this is a whole new ball of wax.
I have read quite a few threads on CAI, Exhausts, chips, etc. There are so many options I don't even know where to start.
So I guess here is the question. I will do the research on the individual components myself but....
In order of importance (gains) what would you install (general terms). Can prob swing 500 in fun money a month.
Thanks guys..... Looking forward to your responses.

Welcome!
Hello Mexican Intelligence, and welcome to Acurazine!
That is one fine automobile you just bought.
You should mod your car according to what you like. There's really no "logical" order to the mods you can do. If you want to start off with something small to get in the mod groove you can upgrade the Throttle Body Spacer and the CAI install. AEM Fujita are the popular ones. The front bumper needs to come off to install the CAI, but don't worry. It sounds much scarier than it is. These should yield about a 15 HP gain.
Good luck on your modding journey!

Welcome and congrats on the purchase. What color combo did you go with? Since you are completely new to the import scene, we'll guide you every step of the way to insure you have a completely different looking and performing car than you already have. The first $500 should go towards a cold air intake(CAI) and Progress rear sway bar(RSB). The CAI, you have several brands to choose from. AEM, Fujita, and Injen to name a few. For rims and coilovers, you'll have to save money for a couple months because they are the most expensive mods. Post some pictures you have now so you can look back on how much different it was from stock to modified.
