i agree too. i was looking for a sunshade for my car forever. i happened to be browsing in he parts store while i was getting an oil change/tire rotation and saw the heatshield. looked good so i bought it - $42. Fits PERFECTLY to the windshield. So good that you dont even need to lower the sun visors down. - Highly recommend.

It looks kinda cheap. Does it roll up, or fold up? I think the other one that Carlos9827 put the link for looks nicer.

It rolls up. Perfect fit. Got it for $30, can't go wrong.
I find it keeps the interior cooler compared than the folding ones you can find at Walmart or a similar store.

It is pretty large though, so if you got a passenger in the front, you may end up hitting him/her a couple times (un)rolling it up and putting up/taking down :p

I've got this one, the Covercraft. Definitely worth the money, fits good since it's made per model and folds up quickly. I wouldn't get the bag, not needed if you use it daily.

I looked at the Covercraft shade as well....looks very well made but was over double the cost...at least to get it up here.
The Heatshield was $43 shipped to my door. Initially the shipping calculator on the Heatshield site quoted me $85 to ship it! But I sent an e-mail to Customer service and the reponded promptly and courteously. And the product is fantastic....like mentioned above it fits so well there's no need to lower the visors to secure it. I've shown it to a few of my car buddies up here...they're all getting one. Beats by a mile the "universal fit" shades...

I got one. It's a perfect fit, covers the entire windshield. Rolls up when not in use, but not as compact as the ones that fold up.

Problem I have with the roll up one is that it takes too much space to roll up. Fits perfect, but I find it to be a pain. I'm looking for a foldable one.

Different Type of Sun Cover

The sun shade has always bothered me. They allow the sunlight and heat inside and then reflect some of it back out. I have found what is in effect a half cover that covers the windows and roof on the outside. This blocks the heat and UV rays before they get into the car.

Covercraft UVS100

Hi TL Community,

I have a Covercraft UVS for a 2008 TL - TL-S. It is customized to fit the TL and rejects a tremendous amount of heat, better than any autostore version. I also purchased the leather-like storage bag.

I have purchased this shade for the last five cars that I have including my new 2008 MDX Sport. It is simply the best sun shade out there bar none.

I have the original box and instructions and it is 100% perfect condition.

Please contact me if you are interested at bweissmark@gmail.com.

Regards,

Ben

This needs to be in the Black Market. You are new so you might not have known, but better off putting it there.
