Heater Question

I have an 05 with navi. I noticed that even though the heater is off it still throws a little warm air. Anyone have the same experience?

I think if the temp. was set high before you turned off the fan, it will still blow warm air into the cabin.

there should a button that switches between fresh air and recycled air. Im guessing that the warm air only come in when your moving?!?!? Make sure its on recycled air and this should solve your problem.

The duct work around the cowl will pick up some engine bay heat. After you have driven the car for a few miles, you will see this lower a bit.

Cool Air

If You Want To Drive With The Climate Control Off, Make Sure You Take The Temperature All The Way Down To LO By Hitting The Down Arrows, Then Hit Off. You Will Have Outside Air Come In The Car That Is Cool. If You Want A Little Warm Air To Come In, Just Take The Temp Up And Then Shut It Off. The Air Will Be Warmer. I Do This A Lot Since I Don't Like It Too Hot In The Car With A Suit And Long Jacket On. My Accord Coupe Worked The Same Way.

I think the OFF button not only turns the fan off but also closes the dampers, doesn't it?

It apparently does not. I will try what Gump mentioned. So in the summer you want to definitely make certain the temp is on Lo and then turn of the system off. It sounds like the system is really never off.
