Heated steering wheel?

With the lights on, does anybody else notice that the metal around the steering wheel buttons gets quite warm to the touch?

Yep, I think one of my first posts on this board - thought maybe I had a short or something. Normal - since the controls on the wheel are illuminated - they get warm. Someone pointed out that it is a great feature for winter driving - we have the hand warmers on the steering wheel and the beverage cooler from the A/C chilling down the Aluminum trim on the console - ahhh, what a great car.

OK, thanks. It will be interesting to see what kind of wear life the illumination on the controls will have. I like using the parking light mode as an automatic DRL substitute.
