hey guys, when you turn on your seat heaters is the back supposed to heat too? or is it just the bottom seat cushion that heats up? on my TL only the bottom cushion heats up.

 

bottom only on mine....Mine is an 06' if that makes a different

I believe it is my back and butt on the driver, but only the butt on the passenger

Mine have also stopped working as well as they used to when I got the car (it was great originally), but now takes a long time to warm up.

 

butt and back on driver...butt only on passenger as the on board "black box" is in the passenger seat so you cant have both

 

I have an 03 - TL. Just the seat bottom heats up!

By the way, I am now having problems with the drivers side seat. Doesn't seem to be heating as it should. Am guessing it is the element but was wondering if anyone else had this problem and what they found? Checked the connections and they all look fine.

My 03 both the seat bottom and the back heat up on the driver side and on the passenger side only the Bottom

 

I thought it had always seemed like it was only butt, not sure if its supposed to be like that or not.

on the 05 the seat and the back heat up on teh driver. on the passenger only the seat...

 

The only TL to get both heated back and butt on both seats was the 1st gen TL
