Heat in Rear Vents while on Auto?

I noticed a few months back that the heat never comes out of the back center unless I change the heat version to Mode and put it in the middle.

My car seems to almost NEVER blow out of the middle 2 vents in the front when on AUTO.

Is this normal?

Good question. I noticed this as well. I've resorted to using everything manually, which actually works better for me anyway.

It is kind of crappy for the guy in the back since I like to keep it on AUTO. Have to remember when I have guests to put it to manual.

Heated air for the back seats comes from floor vents under the front seats on Auto mode, while A/C or vent air comes from the vents in the back of the armrest console.

is there a voice command for the air to blow on the feet, feet and face, and just face.

"air conditioning on" is a voice command.
but "heater on" is not. do u just say "fan speed 2" to turn on the heat. and then say a high number like "temperature 75 degrees"?

and is there a voice command for the windshield and rear defroster?

You can say a temp as a voice command.

You can also say a fan speed I think.

Here are the voice commands:
