I've had my TL since February and the past 2 months or so I've noticed that the headliner just makes this really annoying sound when the shade is open and the sunroof glass is closed. It's noticeable pretty much everywhere except on the smoothest roads or when the stereo is on at a decent level. I'm taking my car soon to get the tranny recall fixed since I fall in that category so I want this to be addressed while I'm there. Anyone else have this problem? It's like this general creaking sound coming from the headliner, though I can't pinpoint exactly where it's coming from. Perhaps the whole headliner isn't attached securely?

 

Mine does this too. I haven't taken it in for service yet.
