I was just wondering if the 3rd gen projectors is as nice as the tsx?

I think there both the same the tl's may be better.

 

Factory HID's in the TL are almost as good or better than the TSX. The only difference is that the TL has Bi-xenons and a fresnel lense vs. the single beam and clear lense on the TSX.

Once you put on a Clear lense onto the TL's projector, it is simply amazing and one of the best out there.

 

So the cut off line is as nice? thats what i was wondering about

the tsx for some reason tends to have a nice cutoff due to its clear lenses. the tl's cutoff is lack in performance due to the fresnel lenses, but as soon as you add a clear lenses like the ZKW from the bmw the cutoff automatically stands out and the colors look more brilliant on the TL. hope that helps

 

I forgot my friend was explaining this to me. I think the TL's cutoff was slightly better or vice versa. He uses TSX/TL projectors for most of his retrofits on lexus's.
