HERE, THIS MIGHT HELP.... 05 TL AT W/NAVI / 06 TL AT W/NAVI

HORSE POWER..................................270 @ 6200 RPM / 258 @ 6200 RPM

Torque............................................ ...238 @ 5000 RPM / 233 @ 5000 RPM

Fuel Induction....................................Port Fuel Induction / Multi Fuel Induction

Curb Weight.......................................3575 lbs / 3580 lbs

I WENT ON KBB.COM AND THIS IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM. I HAVE A 2005 TL NBP W/NAVI AND I LOVE IT! MY COUSIN HAS A 2006 TL AND FOR SOME REASON I FEEL LIKE MINE HAS A LIL MORE PEP.... NO MOD'S YET.

HOPE THIS HELPED

the only reason for the differnt HP & TQ ratings between 05 & 06 was that the SAE (society of automobile engineering) or something of the sort re-adjusted the ratings. the HP has been SAE corrected, so acura had to release with their new re-rated numbers in 06... the cars are exactly identical just how horsepower is measured was changed.

I would check for tire wear and battery condition - 2 things you will find quite a few posts on here on Acurazine.
I bought my '05 TL - 6M in 2007 with 36,600 miles and am very happy. Fun to drive and great fuel economy (27+ in mixed driving)

The ECU was changed in 06 so torque is limited in teh first 2 gears to keep torque steer down.
