anyways, i have a 07 type s... my question is...

what is the differences between the different years and models of the tl headlights??? i understand i dont have fogs but they added the drl... is that the only difference???

 

2004-2005 Had ECE (Or was it EEE) Cutoff projectors and large ballasts with a fog light on the side closest to the grille.
2006 had EEE (or was it ECE) cutoff projectors and slim ballasts with a fog light on the side closest to the grille.
2007-2008 TL Base has the same projectors as 2006, but fogs have been relocated to the bottom grille, DRL takes it's place. As well the turn signal socket has changed from 7443 to 1157...
2007-2008 TL-S Same as Base, but has a clear lense over the turn signal.

 

one other difference in 07 08 base vs type s is the type s housing is black chrome colored, where the base is just a normal reflective color
