Personally, I like the look, especially on your color car. They look the best when the windows are also tinted dark.

Concur...
You have exceptionally effective headlights and tailights. Why corrupt thier capability with tint.
You wanna do something a bit differnent, clear them, Halo's, custom paint on the inside. Lots of DIYs on these topics...
but never would I do anything to reduce the output, like films do.
They also cause your headlights to crack over time.

Don't touch the headlights unless your blacking them out from the inside.
As for the tails, without a doubt, yes!
Checkout pics of some of the applications we've done. For NPB i recommend Lamin-X only, in smoke. Don't go the cheapo route with thin filmsy film.

9 times out of 10 = cheese
Clearing head lights can look good. IMO the only time tails look good is if you use good high gloss clear that's slightly tinted to have a real subtle effect.

Do only the side parts of the headlights .. and the tails .. very easy by making your own patterns and using the RockBlocker bulk film.
My tails are hardly effected and as for added visability ... don't we have a 3rd brake light?

I tinted my tails on 00 TL, it wasn't bad at all....
Now I did see a few WDP 3G TLs with black tint on the tail lights, from up close it looks awesome, but from a distance, it looks like your tail lights got jacked.
So..I say don't do it... TLS tails are sexy as they are.
