I hear this said a lot here, and it couldn't be further from the truth. There are countless threads praising somebody for what they have done to their cars, why should it be any different when somebody doesn't like it?

Of course everybody mods their car the way they like it, but that won't stop anybody else from having a different opinion.

To say that we should keep our mouth shut when we disagree with someone's mod, is taking too far.

At least you guys haven't seen a Final Fantasy X Acura TL. The MOST hideous thing I've ever seen. Too bad I didn't have my phone too take pictures, the only thing that told me it was a TL was his wheels.

I hate to say it, but I agree. but the guy didn't ask for our opinion, so we're roasting a guy who we don't know. and secondly, the OP doesn't even know if the guy just bought it, or a 16 year old is driving, or if it's an OLD guy. I mean aside from the vents, it looks like any other TL. I personally HATE full out crome wheels (IMO crome should just be used on the lips of the wheels and not the center) , but alot of TLers on azine love that crap, but I don't roast them unless they ask for my opinion.

You know guys... in about a few years when this car is more affordable used... you will start seeing it being desecrated even worse than this. Oh trust me... just look at the old Accords these days you see in some neighborhoods.

This kind of apathy toward a TL is a sore spot for me. This guy drives around humiliating the car while I'm trying to just save for one... that I would treat like a goddess. F

 

I think they both have TLs.... Me and my ex had matching NBP TLs back in '06. She keyed mine and then totaled hers into a tree, caught fire, got a little burned, broke both her legs and many other things and got charged with a DUI and no insurance on her leased TL..... I couldn't get the smile off of my face.

My current GF is scared to drive mine. There are so many stories to tell but one day she came home and asked why my brakes shake sometimes. I asked her to describe it and she described the ABS kicking in perfectly. Remember, this car has very sticky, near "R" compound tires 2 sizes wider than stock and the stopping power is unreal. I've never had to get into ABS unless it was on purpose with these tires. So the first thing I ask her is what she was trying to avoid and after 10 minutes she admitted she was changing CDs and looked up and traffic was stopped.

I own a NBP and she owns a RRP. Both are 05's.

 

I hope to god that an old person did that crap cause if a young person did that they better be ready for flames!! That car is not in NYC right?? Cause if it is and I see it at a meet I'm gonna give him an app for a AARP card!! I can't understand why people put that crap on their cars for.

I could not have said it better myself. Maybe I would have said arroz instead of rice. I live in queens New York and these stick on vents are whats poppin these days. Whenever I see them I think to my self, who ever invented this must be loaded. I have yet to see them on newer cars but I have seen them on many old accords and civics, sometimes multiple vents on a fender. If this keeps going its probably gonna be uncool to not have them. By the way, as bad as these are, these are more classy then the ones ive seen in person.

guys you are missing the bigger point here. those bad boy side air vents are good for 10 whp each so thus if they are on both sides thats 60 whp Now this should make that TL-s Fly.
