hate dumb asses

heres the story.. so today is fourth day i drove my new car to school..and it sprinkled a little so i have these water spots on the car and i decided to just clean the window since im getting my windows tinted tomorrow.. so i go out to my garage and discover this lil scratch (i thought @ 1st) but it end up being my paint was chipped off(about 1cm)... and thought some dumb ass at school who open his/her door too much therefore hitting my fkn car...and since i drive a nbp its hella noticeable so any1 got any way to clean this up??

sorry if the pic is a little blurry

Touch up paint. There is little that you can do without spending alot of money to have it fixed professionally. Go to the dealer and get a bottle of NBP touch up paint, i have used it for rock chips. Someone also bumped my door and chipped and dented it, i had the dent taken out and touched up the chip with touchup paint you woould really have to be looking for it or know where it is to see it now! As for some rock chips on my right fender the touch up paint sort of hides the chips but are still visible since they are right on top of the fender!

the only way i kept my car ding free during highschool was to go really early and park in a corner spot and stand around until one of my friends came and have him park next to me. with nbp, you have to make sacrifices to keep it lookin nice.

I agree with Xx06SickspdTlxX, touch up paint is probably the best route to go for this. Pictures can be deceiving, but it doesn't appear to be something that you'd be able to buff out. Although, I'd still recommend checking out the Wash & Wax forum here on AZ. Those guys always have some great tips!

Oh, and I know others mentioned parking in a corner spot, etc. If your high school is any like mine was, parking is so tight, and in such high demand - it's difficult to get any decent parking spot. Here's what I do at work...on the end of each row of parking spots, the last spot has a double yellow line on the outside, so I park on it (so that my wheel is in between the two lines), this leaves a lot of extra room on the passenger side for the car next to me. So far so good!

I'm sorry to hear about the idiots at your school. With me, I park between two other 2G TL's, which is always nice because I'd assume they care for their cars as much as I do mine. It works out well, always plenty of room on either side.

Normally the dealer will charge $8-$12.

Many dealerships will give you a bottle at time of purchase if you pester them - go bug your sales person..

Unless you live in a rich neighborhood I wouldn't drive the TL to school, to many jealous asses at school, but also try parking away from others.
