Has anyone seen at least one on the road?
I saw one in San Francisco a couple months ago and thought it was really, REALLY ugly. Then I saw one in the showroom and confirmed my suspicions.
It's just not an attractive design. I think Acura was trying to go all futuristic and angular and while their intentions might have been admirable, the end product looks like something a cartoonist barfed out.
And from what I've seen and read, the new MDX is going to be a similar design philosophy.

This will be closed soon but I have yet to see one. Wait till you run into the new MDX it will be with more torque and hp than the TL
Due to its sophisticated 3.7-liter VTEC V6, the car can develope 300 horsepower at 6000 rpm and 275 lbs.-ft. of torque at 5000 rpm, whcih gives it the highest horsepower and torque output of any engine in the Acura lineup.

i didn't like the design at first but there was a red one following me today on the highway and it looked real nice in motion. The front looks nice and aggressive and if the main competitor's the X3, the acura's much better looking. Interestingly i saw a cx-7 yesturday and i did'nt feel it at all. it just looked cheap to me. like all the shapes and lines won't age well and it'll end up looking bad in 3 years (typical of mazda design)

I saw one heading south bound from Santa Maria CA. The crazy thing was its was like after 1 week after its release date. So that ment the guy was on the waiting like and jumped on it from the get go.
Test drove RDX before getting '06 TL.
Rides & handles more like TSX, have to rev up to get torque.
Best dealer could offer was $500 CDN discount, & 8% lease or 6.9% finance.
Ended up with good discount & excellent lease rate on '06 TL.

Haven't seen one on the road but one thing that I wish Acura would incorporate from the MDX to the TL is the aluminum front suspension control arms. The TL and other Acura/Honda products have in the past used cast iron for the lower control arms. Now Acura has finally switched to aluminum to lower unspung weight.
Only one I've seen is at the dealer. I had to go twice within a couple of months and the same one was still sitting in the showroom. Salesmen are pushing them, though. It's got a lot of competition, so it will be interesting to see how it does.
The MDX is a different story. There are a lot of older MDX's here, so I would expect that one to sell well...kind of like the TL: tons of 2G TL's, 3G's getting quite ubiquitous.

Haven't seen one on the road, but I checked one out in the showroom last week primarily out of curiosity. I found the interior very nice, seats were comfortable and there was a TON of space in the center armrest storage compartment. Downsides were no manual transmission option and no tape player. I'm not planning on trading in the TL, but if I had to buy a new vehicle I'd certainly add the RDX to the list of vehicles to be considered.
