Has anyone modded their projectors?

NOTE: Those pics make the fogs look WAYYYYY bluer than they actually are. They are white with a tinge of violet, for some reason the cam makes them and their output look very blue. The projectors are preatty much true to color tho.
Install is as complex as you wan to make it. I had my bumper off for the projector mod and decided to do a real nice job hiding the ballasts. I hid them in the area underneath the reflectors of the headlamps within the fenderliner. You can't see any wires and I am sure that if any Acura service tech didin't lsnoop around very closely, they would never even notice the lights were upgraded, wiring wise. Very easy install. If you can change a bulb out, you can install an HID plug and play kit

For those who have color modded their projectors, do you think it would be hard to put the little plastic grommet back in with a pair of needle nose pliers if you wanted to reverse the mod?

when you mod the projector without removing the assembly from the headlamp, the plastic stopper is destroyed. You actually have to break it into a few pieces to get it out of there. Trust me, you would be happy doing this mod and would not want to reverse it

Mine just popped right out, pushed it out while squeezing the 2 clips on the side that hold it in place. Doubt you'll be able to out it back in, unless you can get something small to get in there from the back.

Cruising in my
Bringing back an old thread to ask a simple question...
I recently blacked out my headlights this past weekend... I covered my projectors with plastic wrap while I worked on the rest of the light to protect it from dust and such...
However once I got everything all back together again and the car back together I noticed that the plastic wrap left some kind of residue on the projector lense.
The residue is making an artifact on my light output of my HID...
Is there a way I can remove my projector lense without taking apart the headlight housing? (In my mind it seems like the projector comes apart from the back of the headlight housing and it should be possible... I just wanted to confirm before I try it!)
