their hood struts to shorter ones to have the hood go all the way up??? ive been looking at a few....just curious to know if anyone has recommendations

 

Why would you go shorter? Wouldn't you want ones with a longer stroke so that if pushes the hood back further?

 

the shorter ones push the hood further back look at the arrangement of holes on the hood and the frame. the holes on top are the ones currently used by the stock pistons......in the service book when they remove the motor they tell u to take one of the struts out leave one in and screw it in to the bottom hole on the hood to push it further back. so you would need smaller ones to fit under the hood when its closed.

 

try the Tein Hood Struts for an Integra 94+ ... they fit like a glove... I don't think they give you any extra clearance though...
