just as the title asks, wondering if anyone has bought a wrecked TL for parts? when i google the subject this Site Erepairables.com comes up. has a few wrecked cars in my area some for like $500 or so.

Just wondering because i really want to do a full interior swap out to black interior. Chances are no one would ever sell that interior and if they do its priced high. Saw one guy selling just a driver's seat for $500. i wouldn't pay that much for one seat.

figured someone has done it before. Just looking for some insight on the process or suggestions. Thanks.

 

many people have bought totalled TLs for parts

If totalled cars are showing up for $500 and you spotted just a driver seat for $500 somewhere, I think it's a no brainer if it's worth or not.

 

yea i know its more than worth it. i was just wondering on any "gotchas" for buying the TLs lol. idk how reputable that site is or if there are any hidden fees and that type of thing.
