Happy with TL Community

I have not only enjoyed the forum for 1 1/2 years, I have learned some useful stuff about our 2006 TL. We now have 12,000 miles on it without a lick of trouble. It handles well in all situations, gets good mileage (26-30), and ironically, is faster than the 1969 Mustang that I had in my younger days. (I haven't run the TL at a drag strip, but that's what you folks tell me.)

There are many nicely customized cars on these pages, some of which make me want to open my wallet to copy. But you know what? There are relatively few TLs in SC/GA and even a bone stock model stands out. Therefore, I have decided to enjoy my time driving it rather than messing with it. Of course, I have learned how to clean and wax it with the recommended products.

In my opinion, it doesn't matter if you are young and eager or old? and mellow, the TL is the classiest car for the money. In short, this forum has something for everyone and we should all give and take what we can to keep it going.

This thread fortifies my opinion that while it is good to mod the NBP (results), it is not necessary, for it is a nice looking car stock fresh out of the aluminum foil!!

Congrats for sticking around, and should you get the "mod bug"...feel free to use my NBP as a template!
