Happy new owner!

Hello all Just wanted to spread my wings Im a new owner of 04 SSM 5AT 3G TL . The car has 83k on it, I got it for $14k black leather interior with navigation. This is the best car I have ever owned, EVERYTHING works in the car lol which makes me very happy.
First impressions after getting to drive it on the highway... This thing moves I mean its not torquey but its quick like its light on its feet. The navi is so user friendly, the interior sold me on these cars its so modern and up to par with 2010+ cars.
Question for you guys. Is it ok for me to drive it in the tiptronic mode often? I ask this because Im coming from a 5spd 94 300zx so Im pretty much use to having my hands being occupied. I opted for the 3G in 5AT because I for the life of me couldnt find a 6spd.

Welcome, got my 04 SSM 5AT TL for 15k....oh well, good deal..

but i got mine with 27k miles two months ago

lol, welcome again and enjoy...it's a blast.

btw, use the tiptronic as you wish but be forewarned with the tranny issues the 04s have..search the board for at least the tranny switches (3rd and 4th) and take care of your dash!!!

Thank you sir I will take heed to your warning... Sheeesh 27k I wish! Your car probably felt brand new when you purchased it. And yes Ive browsed the forum and Ive read about the infamous cracking dashboards grrrrrr sounds like a stinker.

Use the other keyless remote. Each "driver" is assigned one.

It's fine driving in tiptronic mode. Your gas mileage might go down though.

Congrats and welcome to AZ! You may want to register her at www.myacura.com. Save your Navi and radio codes there for safe keeping.

Thanks fellas, I love this place such a informative site.
Well yesterday I got under the hood and did a 1x3 tranny flush with 3 quarts of redline D4, Im waiting a few hundred miles to do the 2x3 just want to see how the car reacts.
I also removed the front bumper and headlights to install new slim ballast 10k HIDs I wanted to go with 8k but my friend order 10k needless to say after removing the bumper and headlights I was not gonna do it again so 10k they will stay. Car is getting tinted 20% today and springs will be ordered by the weekend. Question for you guys I want to go with coilovers but kinda outta my price range what is the "next to" best spring set out there that will give me a nice noticeable drop???
