Had Nothing to do today..SO I blacked out my headlights...
Well the title pretty much says what I did... Ive been plannin on doin them for some time..never had the time till today.... my GF was studyin for her paralegal exam... So I thought I'd touch up the TL a bit... I started around 1030ish..took a lunch break around 1230..con't around 115 or so and finished around 200.. so took about 3 hrs to do....
I decided not to take the amber lenses out .. just thought I'd keep it somewhat stock....
Here some pics of my progess... comments welcome...
I might also do my gf's 08 altima coupe as you can see in the lower portion of the 1st pic... what you guys think?
1st one done... 1 more to go..
quick snap of the 3.5se cpe.
Thanks....

Ballinfizzle89: thanks yeah I ill take better pics when i can... as far as the cpe...they've been out for about 2-3mos now... We were one of the 1st to get a white on black V6 cpe in so cal.. it does somewhat sound like a z/g35.. it has the same engine..only difference is FWD...... got her July 15th...
Bforbrian: I wanted to keep the reflector, but I did paint the plastic behind it. I didnt want to have the look where you can just see the bulb with a black housing....
Vmtsquad:... Im not sure what your askin, but if you look at the pics... you can see the difference between the one thats painted and non painted... there are other DIY's into what design you choose to do with your headlights some mbrs choose to take the amber out... I decided on what i did... Hope this helps...

Looks clean...I know what you say you did, I just don't get why.
It "looks like" you didn't do anything but tint it like others said. (I know you didn't) Big gamble on leakage tho just to achieve that minor result on an expensive part. If you didn't say anything, it might not even get noticed. I figure this is just a mod for you and not necessarily an aesthetic you want other people to notice about your car? But to each his own...
Nice gleam to that NBP tho!

Looks good man, I have always liked subtle touches. Its nice when people do a few subtle things and you look at the car and say man that looks good, it different even though I cant quite put my finger on why.
