This is a surprising thread. I agree with the original poster. I think my 'new to me' '04 screams! Of course, I'm coming off a '93 Accord with 135 stock HP. I've never had a car that was anywhere near this fast and it's a hoot to drive it. I guess it depends on your point of view.

I wouldn't call the TL fast but it definitely has some pep. I am totally used to being in cars that are pretty quick though. I just sold my 97 TT Supra, my husband has a 97 Cobra with some mods and alot our friends have 9-11 second cars. Honestly I just love cruising in the TL.

I love my 6MT too, black on black. I owned an 04 TL 5AT before the 6MT, 15.4@93 vs 14.3@100...its huge!

damn i never knew the difference between a AT and a MT is that big. makes me want to get a 6MT now. =(

That's taking the absolute worst AT time and the absolute best MT time. The MT is on average quicker but I've seen times overlap.
