Thumbs up H8 fog light bulbs

Thinking of changing the fog light bulbs in my 08 TLS. I did a search and it looks like most people are happy with MTEC or Nokya bulbs. Which one will you prefer? I am looking to get the superwhite bulbs.

I'm running Nokya H8's.

Go with Hyper Yellows, just my .

Superwhite bulbs might "look" good, but you loose functionality. With the Hyper Yellow bulbs, you get a nice contrast from your HID headlights, and they will actually function to help you see in fog, whereas the superwhite bulbs will only serve to hamper your visibility.

Well, I've never seen the Hyper Yellow fogs on lenses that have also been tinted yellow also...please post pics!

If you have an '04-'06 TL, you have to go under the hood to reach into the headlight assembly and unplug the foglights.

If you have an '07 + TL, you have to go under the front wheel wells by taking off the wheel well clips and bending the lining back, and you can reach toward the front of the car where the foglight housing is. Just unplug the socket when you reach the foglights!

Nokya Arctic White

I did the bulb upgrade a few weeks ago

H8 Nokys Arctic White

As close to the look of the HID's as you can get.

Will they ruin the fog light lens after awhile since they are bright and hotter than the stock?

its true Nokya H8 Artic Whites do match the HID the best (6000k d2s).......

But there is ZERO output, so it's basically for looks.

I don't want to put HID kit in the foggies, I just want a normal pure white bulb or bright yellow...if anyone has suggestions please post (again..no hid kits, lol)

I haven't had any problem in ~6 months.

Pretty sure both the Nokya and Stock draw 35W. Should be good right?

Just a quick question....why the H8 instead of HB4 or 9006 as listed in specs for foglamp location?

Some kind of mis-print in the replacement guides and Owners Manual. Probably carried forward from '04 - '06.

GUARANTEED, 2007 and 2008 are H8.

Joey, I've got pics posted somewhere. I'll dig 'em up.
