I sometimes even turn my radio down. 5500 miles, 4 months old, no problems.

Seriously guys... It's a fucking car... they do make noise... the leather on the seats does wear-thin sometimes (your big fat asses are on them on the time)... We are owners of an all-together well-made vehicle.... We could be driving Fords (or any other crappy manufacturer of shoddy made cars)
Please folks enough of this bitching about the noises your car makes... be they rattles of otherwise...
Enjoy your car for what it is... a piece of machinery made from metal, plastic, and rubber... which has a finite life... and with which things go wrong...
If they is truly a problem with yours then take it back and get it fixed... or better yet go try another manufacturer and see if you can find the "perfect" vehicle... Because I believe you people who do all this bitching will find something wrong with anything and everything in your lives... PLEASE.... It's a fucking car...
Good night...

'04 w/ 8500 just started to hear a slight rattle but haven't isolated it yet ... it's either in the b pillar or rear door (driver's side) I'm sure it'll be an easy fix ... I just haven't gotten around to finding it yet.
Other than that this car has been 'groan' free

05 TL ...after 3 months rattles are showing up. Got the infamous moonroof one only when the roof is open and clicking/poping noises from driver window molding only when window open....very annoying...going to dealer soon. No leather problem like 04 TLs. Damn tint is now showing a couple of scratches.

05 with about 5000 miles. I took the car in today to Acura with 6 different rattles. If they correct 50% of them I'll be lucky. The car is great in every other respect.

12,000 miles, no constant rattles. A buzz out of the rear deck once in a blue, one in the passenger side pocket when my tire pressure is not correct, but gone otherwise. There was one in the driver seat buckle but that completely went away on its own. One in the center console top compartment, started coming around when the weather got colder, but I keep a small cotton towel in it, and as long as its there no rattle.

Attaboy...that'll learn 'im.
Of course if someone kept me from my TL, I'd easily be accused of acting like a 3 year old.
Cheers, Brew.

Mine was 100% rattle free UNTIL...... They replaced my headliner. A week later the glove compartment started to rattle. I am almost CERTAIN that someone did something while it was in the shop so that they would get more (warranty) revenue later. It was fixed via the TSB and nothing else rattles. Back to normal.

I think peoples' definition of "rattles" varies as well... I'd bet $10.00 that if I got into one of these so-called "rattle-free" TLs, I'd find something that I personally would call a rattle/creak/rubbing/etc.
Everyone's tolerance of annoying interior sounds has a different threshold, so this particular thread is not necessarily a good barometer of how common rattles in TL's are or aren't.

1100 miles, no rattles, no problems whatsoever in my 05 TL (recent build, just got it a week ago). I have a very low tolerance for rattles, I hear every single little freaking noise, so I've been listening for them.
Also, the Avon Tech M550 A/S tires I put on the car are fantastic. They feel very similar to Pirelli P Zero Nero A/S I've driven. TireRack suggested that the Pirelli's would have a little better performance handling and the Avons a little better snow grip, so I went with the Avons (so I could drive in the winter). Just put 1100 miles on them in the past week (including a trip to Maine) - they are quiet, stiff sidewalls so the cornering is excellent, and traction was perfect in the snowy patches in Maine.

Grow up buddy, I've been on this forum a long time too, and I've done more to help fellow members than I have to cause a racket over how proud I was that my TL has no rattles, or a thousand rattles.
