i got my aspec front lip this week & put it on this afternoon. it took a couple of hrs, but i was very happy to see how good it looked. paint looked great. thanks tim!!!

how easy of an install is the front sides and rear kit? Any major tools needed and how do u transfer the foglights from the type s front lip to the a spec lip? thank u

I think the sides were the easiest and I don't remember having to use any "special" tools.

When you take off the stock sides you'll apprecaites how much thicker the A-Spec sides are. Only way to go IMO.

Hey All,
To all that have gotten the body kit for the 07-08 TL Type-S,,, did you guys get some sort of instructions and the template? I didn't get any. And I was going off of the instructions from one of the threads here... and was wondering if any of you had to drill into the existing rear bumper to attach the type-S rear underbody spoiler? I beleive it's the 3 screws that will literally "rear-end" the existing bumper. It's just kind of scary for my to drill anything, that will be visible, into my new car. Help me out here, thanks!!!

Oh btw, I did finish installing the side skirts,,, and looks great! Can't wait to finish so that I can finally post some pics!

No instructions but the templates were there. I thought they forgot mine but they were neatly tucked away with one of the parts.

If you need better instructions, check the Hondacuraworld.com website.
After you've filtered the pages out to Acura TL, click on the top Right hand tab that reads Instructions.... I used these here to install my Kit.

It took 2-3 business days to ship out, and it took about a week to deliver depending on where you are. I got mine in about a week... very fast!

I bought the aspec suspension, 06 auto (forgot p/n), and I did not get the aspec badge; however, i have not look thoroughly either. Hmmm, 4 tiny round screws? Dont got those either....I should look more carefully....

I think when you get the a-spec lip kit, suspension and wheels installed at the dealer they throw in the badge. The badge is only $20.

i'd be interested in the a-spec rims if we can get the '05 platinum a-specs (part # 08W18-SEP-200B) is this possible tim? these are the ones WITHOUT TPMS. and any word on what the GB price would be?

Last time Tim ran the GB on rims, he sold em without TPMS. I believe he'll do the same this time around also, cuz 06+ owners can buy and just slap on a TPMS sensors if they need em.

I still need help on the underbody installation. I;ve checked the hondapartsworld site for the instructions,,, I want to see the exact instructions for the 2008 TL-S. Has anyone seen this? And to top it all off,,, I really think that I'm missing the temples and some plate pad covers for my front spoiler... I need to call Tim. Has anyone been successful in installing this and can you give me some advice? Thanks in advance.
