got my kit installed today, I don't have the time to install it so I dropped it off at a local shop this morning on my way to work. it makes the car look totally different, well worth the money i paid for it.

oh yeah, paid $250 to have it installed.

The front lip ONLY is lower to the ground ABOUT 2 inches. Eveything else (sides and back is the same they just go over the stock stuff except for the sides...they are completely replaced)

This is without even having the aspec suspension

Couple Questions

Two questions...

1 Is it okay to install in cold weather, not sure how well the tape does when its cold out.

2 I didnt get any of the templetes that is discribed in the instructions. Do I need these templetes and covers for the front lip?

Thanks in advance for the info....

1. I think the instructions say to not install if the temp. is below 56 or 60 degrees....somewhere around there...cuz the sticky stuff wont stick at those temps.

2. Yes you do, without these you wont know where to drill the holes. Maybe someone can mail them to you from this forum...I would, but I threw myne away.

When you look inside the wheel well is when you can tell the most...cuz you can see where the stock bumper ends and the new ends about 2 inches further down...thats what the brackets are there for too. you can also tell when you get under the car.

I installed my kit...im not just saying this cuz of what I've seen in pics.

If he ever does that deal, count me in, too! I've been trying to find the OEM decklid spoiler for less than $300.

got my kit last night and installed it myself in about 2.5 hours. would have taken longer if i hadn't found this: https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...60&postcount=1 but i think if i had to do it again, it would take about 1.5 hours... definately a DIY.. Thanks again TIM!!!

Oh really? I was wondering why you don't sell the A-Spec suspension for the 3G TL because I'm sure I won't be the only one interested in buying that if you were to do a group buy on it, too.

i talked earlier with Tim regarding the suspension. unless something has changed, he said the suspension and rims come as a package for 2040. so ~$200 less if a group buy starts

I installed my kit without the templates, you will have to test fit the front lip to mark your holes. You just remove the back bumper and the spots to drill are scribed inside. I think it took me like 3.5hrs.

sweet guys, thanks for the interest, Tim, thank you for the great support to all the TL owners out there.

Now guys, quick question,

I did my research and https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...60&postcount=1

installation procedures are perfect. I was wondering though if anyone took the time to take "real" pics of installation to help others out?

if not thats cool, i'm planning on installing my kit and taking pics to help others out later in the future if not done already.

Any help?
