got a quote for 04 in SoCal? Should I??

I talked to a salesperson at dealership in SoCal and got $1,800 discount from MSRP

($33,350) which makes total $35,700 (w/ Navi, incl. TTL & destination, ..)

How's that sound? (I expect $200 more discount if I really buy it)

What I'm concerning is that its almost end of the year and 05TL coming out one month later. ..

actually concerning about DEPRECIATION difference between 04 and 05 when i sell or trade in it. (I'll drive this car about 3~5yrs)

should I purchase 04 with this price or wating for 05

And never possible to negociate for 05 ??

miny,

Welcome to the forum

You may have hard time to talk down the price of 05, especially in Oct or Nov and in West Coast.

04's price seems very good to you and where you are. If you like to keep that car longer (4-6 years), this could be the possible purchase.

But, if you can, I'll still suggest you to get 05TL. (if you put 04 and 05 into the used car market, it's $3k~5k difference)

If you like to replace your car frequently (1~4 years), 05 is good for you although its price tag is higher now, IMHO.

Sine 05 is almost here I would go for the 05 model. Probably the 05 is better tweak from learning any problems for the 04 model. I would definately go for the 05!!!!!

Many ppl have ordered their 05TLs now. Maybe you could try to ask dealers about their discount. Dozen of Acura dealers are around LA.
