hmmmm...you disgrace the TL cult!

Nevermind! You win some and you lose some. WRX is a good powerful automobile.

I traded my wrx for the TL and the wrx is all torque down low, once you get past the turbo lag. Unless you rev the engine in the subie while putting it into 1st, it's slow as molassas off the line. BUT...the subie has what I miss in the TL; AWD. All traction, no slip. Oh well, I'm still happy as hell I got the Tl.

I had a WRX too. I had to leave it in the USA when I moved back to Canada.

It was a 400HP monster that killed just about anything on the road. I ran a 12.7 @ 107 (2400ft elevation).

It's fast.

May I know why you cannot drive it back to Canada??

a wrx will beat a TL from a stop. i think the only way to beat a wrx, with a good driver, is on the highway

Yep I havent raced any from a stop, but on the highway its not a very serious challenge. 2 kills. From a stop it has four wheels for additional traction off the line while the TL manual is making smoke! On a rolling start that advantage disappears and the tl, probably even the auto, will own it.

You mean TL can overtake WRX with mod (400 hp)?

I'd like to try if I see it on streets...

And this was a surprise why? Do a search and learn why this is totally expected.

Why even compare to WRX? Even SRT-4 is faster than TL, but would you buy that instead?

If you want a car that's all go, then go ahead and get an ugly mobile (aka WRX / SRT-4 / or what ever). You bought a TL which is a plush car with surprising get-up-&-go. This is like comparing a harley to a dirt bike - I think. I just don't see the need to compare. Now, a beemer, I'll read that.
