Picked up my 05 TL Black 5AT w/navi the other day, and I love it! It was worth the wait, just as you folks said it would be.

I love everything about the car, but what I love best is no more mapquest driving directions to print out. And the stereo is so great. You guys are right though, XM sounds horrible. Like listening to AM radio for gawd's sake!

Another nice surprise - the homelink button has never worked on any of my other cars with the garage door opener I have, but it does on the TL.

Now I have to go out and buy a bluetooth phone!

Oh yeah, and it drives like a dream, too. Love the power and pick-up.

Handsfree is great, I like dialing by voice.

 

Are you joking? XM sounds excellent and on some stations it's damn near CD quality. Most people that complain about XM complain about the channels or music that they play when compared to Sirius not that it sounds horrible or like AM. But hey that's your opinion. I personally wouldn't trade XM for anything not even better sound for my nav conversion/dvd player.

Cetain XM channels sound better than others...channel 71 'Watercolors', Jazz/Blues sounds really good.
