I'm driving home from work today and this 335 gets next to me and drops a couple gears. We're in the middle of traffic and there's no where to go. This retard is relentless. He's flooring it and standing on the brakes over and over again. We get a light side by side but with cars in front of us. He's dogging me so I roll the window down and ask why bother, they're both slow cars, trying to be nice. Light goes green and he's still harassing me. At this point I'm starting to get pissed. The smug look and slicked back hair are starting to get to me.

Luckily I know the dealership where this guy works. I'm waiting for my new set of heads to get in for the GN and my first trip will be to the dealership to see if he wants to try a more fair turbo 6 vs turbo 6 race. I figure I'll return the favor since he was so eager to race an easy kill.

It's definately worth my time to drive back over there. The funny thing is there was a TL-S two cars in front of me and the 335 didn't mess with it.

 

i wonder why he didn't bother with the TL-S...

 

If i were you I would look for him at the dealership and humiliate him if he wants to race.

People like this make me want to install the 100 shot I have in the garage. I bought it for the TL and then decided against it. If I could control myself to only race cocky 335 owners I would do it but knowing me I would be filling the bottle every week until I broke something. While I don't mind being a bully in the GN, it would give me a certain satisfaction to beat the guy with my TL and tell him it's bone stock. Not a bad idea considering the GN is at least two months away from being completed.

 

Not a bad idea.... I used to get pretty creative with my license plate frames. The Mustang and Corvette guys used to throw fits. Got to make sure the car is in the 10.50 range or faster this time around before I make up another anti-Corvette frame. I would hate to have to pull my foot out of my mouth lol.

WOW...alright well I had no idea THAT was the GN that you were talking about...I've seen them around though? haha YES I KNOW, sorry I didn't recognize...I guess I'm still "naive" when it comes to the cars, especially the old school muscles...haha

 

You may have seen them around, the regular Regals used to be everywhere. Same body and frame but 200% more power for the turbo cars and much needed suspension tweaks. GNs were only made in black, T-types were made in many colors and unless you know the cars well, the only giveaway is the hood. Many mistake it for the 105hp Regal.

Who cares? How would it be a fair race with your GN? You can take out e60 M5s with that thing (and C6 Z06s for that matter).

I get a little pissed off also when the whole world picks on me when I'm in my Teg, makes me want to go FI it but that would destroy the gas mileage and the whole point to why I purchased the car. Nobody messed with me in my M, even when it had the US engine in it (except for a Malibu SS ).

I'm pretty sure that 335 would have pulled on the TLs also, unless the driver sucked.

 

No doubt he would've pulled the TL-S. I was just making the point he was looking for an easy win. I've said before that I like the 335 and M cars but I find it funny that a lot of owners like to pick a fight with a TL. It would be different if I went after him. It's about as pointless as me going after him in my GN.

I have burned a few 335's, a lot of racing has to do with who you think you are racing. By the time they hear the blower its too late.

 

I hate drivers like that, it usually means they cant drive. I cant wait till I get my car back, I wanna see how a stock euro engine fairs up against stock z28s. I dont plan to turbo my car till next year, then I'll start saving up for a GNX.
