Got a call from my dealership

I got a call from my Acura dealership, saying I'm due for a car maintenance check-up. I'm at 15,000 miles. When I got the call it was at 7:00 pm and I didnt feel like setting up an appointment at the time. Do you guys have an idea when the appointment could be and how much you think it may cost? Thanks

Yeah. Only follow what your MID says. If it is close to needed the service - then schedule the appointment.

just change the oil and rotate tires if you want to... I would not do all the fuss they like to do at 15,000.

It is obvious that your dealer doesn't know what's going on (as many don't). Don't get ripped off by it. Ask for the price first before you do anything.

He's just trolling for business. Treat it as a sales call. I'd be weary of a dealer who tells you you need service without knowing the mileage.
