Got 2011 MDX as a loaner

So my CV axles are getting replaced under powertrain warranty at the moment and rather then giving me a loaner TSX like they always used to do, this time they wanted to be nicer and gave me a 2011 MDX. All I can say is wow this thing drives like a little car.

If I wasn't such a manual transmission car type person, I would totally want one. It was interesting to see that it's non-navi radio screen is just as small as my 06 TL's, much smaller than the TSX's. I love that SH-AWD display on the cluster. I look at it everytime I corner.

had one as a loaner before.. did they give you an elite? the suspension dampening system is pretty cool. i would love to get one...but fuel economy wasn't all that great in them.

i'd agree the MDX is surprisingly sprightly. I had the pleasure of test driving one at a test drive event in a small tight course.

heh heh...i have a both. well i have my 6MT 3G TL (which i love)...and an 09 MDX. SHAWD...awesome. for a big ole 4500 pound SUV...it corners like a sedan. very comfy for long trips. i still love the pick up and rowing the gears in my TL though.

I had an 11 MDX w/ tech as a rental when they did my dash last month. I fell in love with that car. I plan to replace the woman's car w/ this probably next year.

I like mine.
The Advance has the active damper system too that lets you switch between sport and comfort suspension.

Agreed.. I had that SH-AWD display on as well, pretty cool to watch actually.. I forget what mine was but it had the reverse camera and it's in the rearview mirror
