Oh yeah, well I payed $10,000 for a 2009 TL-S.

[/sarcasm]

Why does everyone assume all market conditions are the same when they bought their car?

And $33,630, seriously? C'mon. Your dealer probably won't be in business much longer at that rate. Perhaps you leased and you calculated wrong?

I got it $700 below invoice from Acura of Boston. My salesperson was Perry Wong.

I got them and Clair Acura of Walpole working against each other.

There was also a $1500 rebate which most had no idea there was.

I sold cars at Boch Toyota and a guy I use to work with worked at Clair. He told me about the rebate.

Acura Peabody turned me down not knowing their own incentives ( First day of knew incentives ). I was offering them $35000. Lucky for me they are morons.

Exactly my point. Not everyone lives in the same market. The invoice price is $35k. If the rebate came from the dealer then they probably lost money. If from Acura the dealer might of made a couple hundred dollars. Again, they won't stay in business making too many of those deals.

So Honda can build cars in 08 and transport them through time to sell them in 07? I just don't get how they can build a car in 07 and call it an 08; it's deceiving.

Don't the new model years come out in the Fall? That would mean they would have to be built in the current year, not 08. Although they would still be building 08's in 08 to be sold in 08.

Yep, mine came with the all season mats and trunk mat, maybe something else too not sure though (can't remember and haven't really driven the car since I bought it). I think they called it the Pacific Northwest Package? My price also included their destination charge. The only "extra" charges were TT&L and I will be getting a refund on the licensing fees in the next week or so. I don't think I got a bad deal though.

I'm sure there was some way to have made a "better" deal, but I feel okay with what I ended up getting. Geez, you guys are a tough crowd! :shakehead

There is supposed to be a light for the tire pressure monitor to notify you of bad tire pressure. At least that's what I read in Motor Trend.

I was thinking the exact same thing. Knowing Acura is putting out the next gen. TL next year, there is no way I'm trading in my '05 TL until I see it and know what new features it's gonna have. I'm already pissed at myself for not waiting to get an '07, I'm not going to make the same mistake twice! I think people who are buying '07s and '08 TLs are going to be VERY pissed next year. If it's leased, then fine, or if you don't care about having the latest and greatest car, then fine. If not, you will probably second guess your decision next year. Dealers already know this, that's why everytime any of us go to the dealership for an oil change or something, they're going to try and get us to trade in by offering great deals. How else are they going to sell TLs when the majority of the buying public knows that the new TL will be out next year and they're going to hold out to see and here about it? I can't see the '08 TL being a big seller until we see the '09. People might see it and not like it or it's new features and say "Hell, i'll just get the '08 instead of waiting for THAT". But I doubt that Acura will put out anything less than a stunner .
