So I went to have my 2005 TL AT serviced and went home with a 2008 Type S! Best part of the whole thing was that I got the 2008 for the same deal I had made on a 2007 TL-S AT, they wrote the deal on the wrong car and in order to keep me, they switched the deal to the 08 MT. Wasn't a bad deal on the 07, but better on the 08. Paid $37000 plus TTL. Not bad since they really aren't negotiating on the 08s (esp. the MTs).
Love this car and the MT is lots of fun! Seattle traffic isn't the best place to get a brush up on my shifting skills, but the car made it home in one piece.

Use the IMG tags before and after the web address - or copy the Photobucket link with the IMG tags "built in".
Nice car. Silver looks good on the TL-S with the stock wheels.

Sorry guys. MY only meant the Model Year is dif't - as has been pointed out.
I would be interested to know what the 'build date' on yours is - driver's door jamb. Only gives a month and a year (ie 06/07).

Congrats on your new car! I'm just curious. If you don't mind, I know you mentioned you got it for 27k plus Tax and License, but what is the total amount you paid? The out the door amount.

I don't have the papers in the house, but I think it was somewhere right around 39K. I should also get a refund on the license fee because the county I live in pays WAY less to license a car than owners do in the county I bought the car (because of rapid transit taxes). Probably around $250 or so, maybe more.

For an 08' Type-S you should be paying about 1k more than the 07 from what I've been hearing from others on the AZ members.
That's just my two cents. By who cares right? What's done is done.
Congrats on the new ride!

Now that I read the above post, I sounded kind of rude. Didn't mean to.
I'm just a mom who's a registered nurse and drives an awesome car.
