"Acura-licensed".. so I guess these are the same ones you see in the parts store at the same price.

I'm personally a big fan of the Weather Tech frames:

http://www.weathertech.com/store/mvp...Id=8&Year=2005

The only thing they need to do is add the Acura logo and they would be perfect...

I'm really a no frame kinda gal. I prefer the cleaner look. Actually in Texas now these things are practically illegal. If a frame covers up any part of the plate, inlcuding the state name or any part of the hideous "home on the range" with a space shuttle scene you can get a ticket.

Thanks for the link. I really like the plates on that site.

I also like the plates in the link that the original poster put up, but those are just kind of normal looking to me.

why would you want to put on a frame that says Acura, are you afraid that nobody knows your car is an Acura..

might as well get Acura stickers and put them on the side windows and windshield

Well, the "Acura" stickers would then cover up the "Honda" labels which are plastered all over the car windows.

I went with a rear frame from that site 6 months ago. $30 is the going price for a high quality frame and I am satisfied with it. I was going to go with another one (slightly different one) on the front, but I wanted to test the frame. Before buying a 2nd one. I wanted a nice thick gauge metal with high quality plating. It turned out they were decent. Not top-notch but not cheap either.

Mine was chrome on chrome because none of the other color combos matched my car. (I wish I could have gone with chrome/black. That would look good on NBP.) Problem is that the "Acura" didn't have a good contrast. It seems like there is a black outline around the letters on the pics in the website; there isn't. I then applied a carbon fiber look to the letters "Acura" and it matches my Anthracite beautifully. Looks different and always gets compliments.

Well some people have more pride in their cars, I was only posting the site cuz out of the millions of acura owners there might be a few in there that might want to use the site.

Looks to me like those frames are simply plain old $7 frames from a bulk supplier (like these):

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Plain...89710059QQrdZ1

With a $6 OEM ACURA badge stuck on it.

$14 dollar investment sold for $30. Not bad.

I actually have the frame above and was thinking about taking the ACURA TL and A-Spec badge from my "de-badging" and affixing them to the bottom.
