Is this a good site?

This site makes the TL seem very prone to problems.
Is this accurate.

problems on 3G TL seems so minimal almost as if there is no problems. At least from what I read here. Besides a few tranny failures, don't see alot of expensive problems. And that's mostly from 04 TLs. I had the car for 33K and haven't had a single problem.

It's got a very low sample rate, so the margin of error is huge.

Take a look at Consumer Reports, Edmunds, auto sites on MSN.com or Yahoo and you'll see that the 3G TL gets very good reliability rankings.

If the 3G TL was that bad of a car, everyone and their mothers wouldn't be driving them

its been good to me so far. compared to the many TLs on the road most of them are actually still running pretty well with minimal issues. every car is prone to some sort of problem dont let negative reviews be bad. Acura and Honda are very reliable and their civics have proven so. (all imo of course)

Have you ever looked at the reviews and statistics when buying an external hardrive?

Come on. The name of the site is AutoBeef. Nobody goes there to rave about how good a car is. Most of the cars discussed are high mileage cars with questionable histories written about by naive new owners. A few of them said somebody should have told me I would have problems.

Amazing how people buy the least expensive example they can find and expect it to be 'like new'. I wonder why they have problems?

Are you asking us if a site that appears to cater to people with problems with their acura's, accurately reflects upon all acura's out there? lol? Only if it had all the people that dont have problems, come on there and vouch for their cars....

Although if you did want to derive something from that site, why dont you look up how many Acura's have been sold in total and compare that figure to all the people that have had problems and posted it on that site.

Maybe this link to a post here should be on that site:

https://acurazine.com/forums/showpos...01&postcount=6

And that was as of 3¼ years ago!

No problems for me either. As long as you do the scheduled maintenance you should be fine.
