Good price or No? Trade in my '07 TL

I found a dealership which is selling a 2007 TL Type S Manual MOROCCAN RED PEARL for $24939. 33361 mile. What do you guy think? Do the insurance cost more for the car of the car being red? Anyone? Thanks

I saw an classified ad that had a red 07 type S in Utah for sale $18,700. It had about 66K.

I suggest you call up your insurance and ask them to put the car on your policy to find out how much you're gonna be spending. This is the only way to find out any increased cost, if a red car cost more to insure, and any other elementary questions you may have concerning insurance.

I don't know if linking ads is allowed but here's the ad from Utah. Doug Smith has been a dealer here for a long long time.

You HAVE to call your insurance company to check. Each company has different rating criteria. State Farm quoted me over 50% more than Geico for my TL.

with how many miles? CPO from the previous owner? I've never heard an Acura "CPO" from a Nissan dealer..

obv miles is a huge determining factor in the price here.

Yeah that sounds like a good deal if its very good condition with no accidents etc etc. MRP with 6spd manual is VERY hard to come by and the 6spd cars generally go for more than the autos since they are rare (even though places like KBB or nada show manual as less value but real world is opposite).

that sounds like a good offer to me dude, ultimately insurance goes up because of the color of your car as well as in what category it is. For example, a lot of insurance companies views the TLs as sport cars and because of that it goes up as well as the year of your car. I used to have an 05 honda Accord in black and my insurance was $510 every 6months, and now with the TL i pay $730. Mind you i have a blue TL so according to my agent it went up because is classified as a sport car and because is a more sensitive color because it catches people's attention.

Looks like the car was purchased new and serviced at Davis. Looks clean, but check the tires as they are Michelins and may be the originals, but for that price every item should be pristine.

Yeah my TL costs more to insure then our BMWs. I recently got a quote for our new car that's coming soon (few weeks ). A 2008 TL costs more to insure then a 2011 BMW 535i because the TL is a sports car. LOL.

I use ipod>AUX>MP3. So my iPod connects to the AUX port through a AUX cable. Do you have a iPod interface in your car?

Straight through the AUX port. Not a cd man anymore and hardly ever i listen to the radio lol ...by summer i'm planning on installing a custom made in-dash dvd/navi in to my car surrounded with carbon fiber paper. It's going to look sick, so by then i shall have my ipod interface so that it can read every title of my songs.

That is a good deal and you will be able to talk them down at least. at least. 1k! I looked at a 47k one black and talked them down from 24,683 to 21,250. That red looks amazing and so does the blue! Stay away from black they generally look terrible paint wise unless the owner took amazing car of the car.
