Good Offer? yay or nay
Hello everyone, I am a new member but ive been lurking for some time now. The time has come and were ready to buy.
My local dealership is offering me a sale for 34000 for a White/parchment TL auto with Navi. They are giving rear mud flaps, trunk mat and wheel locks.
Or 34500 for a white/ebony navi auto...why the price difference, cause there more in demand??
Anyway Im willing to drive to Dallas for a better deal - 6 hours away. What do you think am is 34000 a good deal?
TIA

Yeah...i feel he isnt giving the best offer though. I told him to keep the trunk mat and wheel locks and he said "the price wouldnt change, the dealer throws them in." Nothing is free.
its an 06 with 34 miles. that price is for the car only. plus tax, title and all that good stuff.

I paid 33400, roughly 500 over invoice for my Sil/Ebony/Nav/Auto. Just try to work it out slowly and never rush when negotiating. I think some people bought the car lot less than what I paid for mine. Good luck!

try to get him at that price out the door he will if he wants a sale or else tell him ur goin to another place and getttin a car. quote " im here to do business and get the car TODAY if u dont want my business, i'll take it somewhere else and get what i want" im sure he wont let a sale get away this close so just stick to the out the door price and not the price they actually say. let us know what u got

Last October paid 33,800 for 2006 with Nav before TT&L. No trunk mat or wheel locks. Would assume you could do better now since the 06 has been out for 4 months and it's the middle of winter. Maybe $33,300. They were offering 32,700 for a new 2005 with out even asking when I bought my 2006.

Yeah thats the impression I left on Sat. He told me to shop around and I told him im willing to drive to dallas to buy for a better deal because he said he cant match Dallas deals. So if i can get him to 33500 range for a white/navi/auto I think I will be in good shape. Plus taxes and title. Thanks for all the replies. Ill keep you posted what happens tomm.

well I called him back today. Hes willing to do the offer for 33500. Except I have to wait 2 weeks for the car. He didnt take any information down - will I still be getting the car in 2 weeks?

Thats right around invoice...so there isn't much more room to move from there...you are probably not on the 'list' until you put some money down
Enjoy your sweet sweet WDP TL

tell him you want him to fax over a signed offer from the dealer at 33.5 with a delivery date in 2 weeks. counter sign and send back to him. you're bound too, but at 33.5 you're talking.

btw, what was his excuse for not being able to do it now? does it make sense to you that he's got a car he will sell to you today at one price, but the same car at a lower price is only available after a 2 week wait?

I just bought the white/ebony yesterday. oh. my. god. One of the best color combo's by far, the only other that comes close imo is the anthracite/ebony. The white really stands out though, people NOTICE the white, the other colors kinda blend in with other cars. I'll probably tint the windows too.
the parchment seating just felt like a totally different car inside...very light and airy...perhaps a little more luxury + refinement, while the ebony screams luxury + power. I didnt like the onyx...although I think the grey interior has one of the best offsetting color mixes, the grey looked too plasticky for my taste.

He did say he had one hes willing to sell me right now but it has a wing on it so he said it would be 33500+590ish for the wing. so he may be telling the truth. I even asked him if he wanted a deposit and he said no ill be on the list and if i choose not to buy it he'll sell it.

DCH Montclair Acura quoted $32,800 before TTL for an '06 AT or MT with NAVI. I wish we were ready to jump on it. But that's a great price. We will definitely go to them when we are ready later this year.
