A good night.

Went up against my buddies in their Mercedes S600 (bi-turbo v12) and BMW 3xx on the highway.
The S600 was gone before i knew what was going on. The BMW was faster than me, but not by much, we were able to roll side by side for a good while.

Then at on the way home, from a dig i went up against a new Mazdaspeed3. His BOV was super loud. I got him off the line by quite a bit, then had to slow down, i was still in the lead but it looked like he was closing in quick ( MS3 -14.3 1/4 mile).

he gave me a when we met up again.

Surprised the BMW pulled you a bit on the highway. At what MPH did you start off at and what gear?

I rather not say the exact speeds, but higher 3rd to mid fourth.

BMW is lowered on bilsteins with an intake and exhaust, + chipped. I can't remember what model it was, highly doubt it was the 335 because it was really close.

Why would you be surprised? We don't even know what 3 Series it was. 330 would pull, 335 would run away.

Only if its the E90/E92....I think a TL-S would take out any E46 aside from the M.

The mazdaspeed 3 is really dependent on the drivers capabilities, too much power for FWD. I have seen time slips from 13.7 to 15.2 stock. My friend has one and love it to death, so I can't trash it too bad. With a competent driver it should be putting down a low 14 second 1/4 mile. The BOV gets loud if they have any type of intake.

I still think an E46 330 with a stick is going to be a bit quicker than a 2nd gen TL-S, as long as it's not AWD. People underestimate the 330 since it doesn't show big numbers on paper (225-235hp), but Acura has showed us in the past how worthless big numbers really are.
