Good bye to all TL's

I just trade in my 07 TL with new Ody for family van. I just want to drop in and say goodbye to everyone , this is the best forum ever. This forum had helped me alot and I still missed my TL but I have no other choice.

Even tho I don't have Acura but I still have a Honda, so I will come here anyway time to time. Good luck to everyone and thanks for everyone who have helped me.

Hope this forum maintain the way it is as luxury as Acura. Goodbye.

JV

You will like the Odyssey. If you have to drive a van, drive and Odyssey. The most "car like" can out there. My garage has both an Odyssey and a TL. Had to buy the wife the Odyssey so I could get my car , so I understand the "taking care of the family" rationale. What year/trim level Ody did you get?

thanks dschaos, CLtotheTL32 , badbart yah It was sad to let it go, I looked at the TL every moment when they took it to the back.

badbart - I got 2012 EX-L without Navi/Res, I like the blue tooth feature, I can stream music from my Iphone or any other bluetooth smart phone.

TL and 2009 Odyssey here!

Same oil filter (not surprising) and same windshield wipers. Wondering if I should do the 3rd a 4th gear pressure switches on the Ody.

05 TL + 06 Ody Touring. I almost ended up with two of the same color cars. Had to go for the NBP to avoid having a monochromatic garage. Love them both. The navi in the older vans is quite frankly not worth it. Your $100 Garmin will run circles around it usability and quality wise. Not sure why they don't put nicer nav systems in with better graphics. It is nice to have the big screen for running the audio controls with.

You traded the TL for the Ody? sound good to me, matter fact if my wife ever want to buy a van that would be my standard choice, I hope you get the one with all options. People keep told me that I need a van I say hell no if I ever come down to buy a van I would get an 2nd gen MDX with advance package instead.

I used to think that way, I would never want to drive a van for the rest of my life but I got a chance to drive my dad 2008 Ody for like almost 2 months. I felt in love with it for everything. I decided to get same van as my dad but ended up got 2012.

badbart- true that, stock Navi cost $2000 and DVD $1500. I can build Carpc with cheaper price.

Just because it's a van doesn't mean you can't get a JnR Turbo kit. Maybe even an ECU.

Sucks to have to give it up but the Odyssey is a great van.

Acura=Honda so you stayed in family. Congratulations and enjoy your new Van. I was thinking to buy one of these but I ended with a MDX.
