Hey guys,

First things first I guess.. been reading on the forums for a while now, just finally created an account. I've loved the look of the new TL's (3rd gen) since they first came out. My name is Jason and i'm from Saskatchewan, Canada.

The local dealer here has a '05 TL with Aspec kit/suspension, auto with everything but NAV, 35,000km's on it. Body is in great shape, saw it just out of the wash and no dings/scratches or anything. Color is alba silver with black interior, comes with a set of winter tires as well. Price is $36,995 CDN. The car has been on the lot for about a month they said.

I'm really interested in this car and have been looking at getting a new one lately, currently driving a '98 Acura EL premium with 127,000km's on it.

Just wondering if you guys think this is a good deal for what's in it. I'd be using my car as a trade in and would hope for ~$8,500 for it.

At the current exchange rate, I guess that's about $34,500 USD? Sounds like a lot to me for ~22,000 miles and two model years. I mean, can't we get new '07's (with Navi or maybe even Tl-S) for close to that?

I don't know if MSRP is higher in Canada so .... .



BTW - Have you checked used car values on Edmunds.com or Kelly Blue Book (kbb.com)?

edmunds and KBB are pretty much useless for canada.. only good for the states

the $36,995CDN is a little crazy from what I think, since I could get a brand new with full warranty for a little more..

Just wondering what you guys think would be a reasonable offer, I was thinking around the 32-30k mark..

I know this is all speculation since only the dealer can say yes/no.. but i'm just looking for ides
