Going in for service. Any advice?
Sup Aziners? I'm taking my TL in for service this Friday and I can use some of your car knowledge. My warranty is pretty close to its expiration date and I want to take advantage of it. I'm at 64k right now. I do have a 50.00 deductible, but my buddy works there and takes care of me, so NO deductible.
What should I look out for?
So far I have:
1. The hard cover behind the passenger seat which has broken clips. (been repaired before)
2. When I drive my car before it's warmed up all the way, I hear a whistle sound from the engine compartment while under 3,000 rpm.
3. I also get a loud squeal when I turn the steering wheel all the way and am going slow. (like a sharp turn into a parking spot)
Since I hate going to the dealer for every little thing, I wait for multiple problems as you can see. Thanks in advance.

I would write a note, if you have bunch of issues so you don't forget to mention anything.
I also tell them not to wash the car, limit the chance for the lot kids to hot rod/ eF-up my car or run it through the dirty wash machine.
Just saw Krafcik's S at dealer the other day.

have them check the motor mounts, check the condition of the axles, suspension, bushings, etc. Also have them check the battery of the car while your there along with any outstanding recalls/TSB's to be done. I suggest that you go to the 3G garage, click TSB info, then click on the first one for 2008 and then just change the numbers at the end up to access the rest.
